Level 2 Coaching Course

 

The UKCC Badminton Level 2 coaching course, taking place at Gordano School, North Somerset is now live, and available to take bookings.

The course dates are:

Day 1: Saturday 13th October 2018 9am-5pm

Day 2: Sunday 14th October 2018 9am-5pm

Day 3: Sunday 11th November 2018 9am-5pm

Assessment: Sunday 16th December 2018 9am-5pm

 

Cost:

£355 for Registered Coaches

£370 for Badminton England Members

£380 for Non-Members

(NB: To book onto a level 2 coaching course, you must hold the level 1 coaching qualification. All learners must be 18 or over on the first day of the course unless advised otherwise)

 

Coaching bursaries are available. Those interested in a coach education bursary will need to complete an application form (attached) and have paid for the course up front. Applicants will need to demonstrate how they meet the criteria outlined on the form – all applications will be assessed by the Education and Training Team at Badminton England. Only those that meet the criteria will be accepted. We particularly welcome applications from female coaches.

SOCIAL MEDIA TRAINING 

 

Are you looking to improve your social media outreach?

Join us for our FREE social media training session, being run as part of the Avon Workforce Academy, to discover practical ways you can increase your club’s online audience and use social media to increase memberships. We will have practical demonstrations on setting up a Facebook account and page, creating posts and where to place them to maximise your audience. We will also hear from members of other clubs sharing their social media experiences and how they have attracted new members and advertised events to wide and usually in targeted audiences. Please bring along a laptop or iPad if you have one so you can join in with the interactive sections. If you don't have a laptop or an iPad, don't worry it is not essential.

Essentials Course at Broadlands Academy Keynsham 

 

There are still places remaining on the Broadlands Academy in Keynsham is running an Essentials course starting on the Thursday 3th May, 6-7pm running for eight consecutive weeks. 

The essentials course is an 8-hour (1 hour each week) coaching course for adult beginners to learn the badminton basics or for people who would like to brush up on their skills at a relaxed pace in a fun and friendly setting.
